I’ve found on digg.com official system requirements, so its now clear what kind of PC we need to play without problems and getting angry in our beloved AoC.

in new 2008, one from the first news is something bad - Funcom is releasing game not in March but in May and they must do it because of bugs in game. More complicated system of combat and other stuff is real problem for Funcom so it isn’t quite sure, that they release game in May. Anyway check out this new video about Age of Conan

Age of Conan E3 presentation

Check it out- this new video from E3 its all about game play of our AGE OF CONAN. As you see, there will be some classic RTS building in Aoc. After this you can character creation menu ( with something behind - how nice ), and combat system which is brilliant and more advance then in upcoming Warhammer Online. You don’t have to pick your target just swing your sword and you can hit 3 - 4 characters with one move. Awesome stuff. Enjoy watching this video!

Dark Templar class in interwiev with Jørgen Tharaldsen

 

Hi, on TentonHammer.com you can find new interview with one from Funcom crew, about Dark Templar class. This long and interesting article is starting new series of interviews with Age of Conan producers about game and classes. Interesting stuff anyway. Dark Templar class is basically warrior tank with special dark magic powers. He can fight as a tank, in front line and fight very efficient without any help from party, its depending how hard fight is but generally he can fight alone and drain life using his abilities or very dangerous spells. His value is high because healers can focus on other tank in party.

His specialty is combat with single handed weapons like swords or blunt weapons but he can also take shield or magical talisman or orb or anything else and fight very efficient. Dark Templar have special and his unique combos ( every class have his own anyway), but his will be interesting as a mix of dark powers and deadly attacks. About PVP i can say that his frenzy ability and all spells and powers make him very valuable character to play against different player.

Fankit and super - females

If you want around 90 MB of official promotional materials, check official site for free fankit. Producers delivered, very nice concept arts (artistic vision is fantastic ), some music themes from Age of Conan ( main theme is great), screenshots, wallpapers, logos and other interesting things. If you are planning to create your fan site this materials will be helpful. Read before you do that, license agreement - you must provide link to www.ageofconan.com. Anyway one more thing

Female, females, females in Robert E. Howard -brutal and barbaric - world. You think women is weak sex?they just lay all day and do nothing specific?NO!In Howard’s world every women can fight like man, so if you are going anyway where women is - look out. She can stab you from behind or cut your throat. In face to face combat she can defeat you without problems. Producers also added above 2000 of females moves to create very realistic picture of women. Every armor and cloths are created specially for women > now they will be sexy and ahh you know..i just can’t wait to see ..

Age of Conan News: Siege

Siege battles will completely new type of struggle. In Age of Conan players will be able to built strongholds and castles, of course if players are in guild. If you want keep for your quarter, you need money and as a guild master you will tax ( ….) any player for this purpose. After you collect enough gold for this, you will be able to construct your guild’s home.

And thats not all. If your keep will be constructed, now you can built special buildings in keep, blacksmith, healer or stables for your traveling speed upgrade. From keep, all players in guild will receive special bonuses…But…

Now any other guild can destroy your home, so watch out. Prepare your defenses carefully. Of course you can also attack, keep - if you succeeded- you will receive special points ( i don’t know what for i just read that special points are valuable…;-P). Crom - Warrior God

In Age of Conan and generally in Hyborian there are lots of gods, some are very dark - like bloody - Set, some are bright - Mitra and some are neutral like humans - Crom.

I will start from mighty - Crom. This ancient god is main ( and propably only ) deity of Cymeria - homeland of Conan. Also Conan belive in this god and from various of event we can say that he is probably most favorite follower. Crom love strength, might and braveness - his followers shouldn’t waste time for prayer - this god hate this kind of manifestation of faith - it’s a weakness to beg him for anything. Concluding - this god warrior can be attract only by mentioned above attributes ( strength, bravery and iron will ).

Players in game can fight in tavern after using alcohol, then all characters in bar beat each other - funny addon ;-). World is really huge and maybe now World of Warcraft will be nr. 2 in MMO?Game is for adult players only, now cutting limbs and throats its possible. Some nudity and dark horror monsters included.
