Very known Funcom producer and game director Gaute Godager has left Funcom Company, on Sep 17.
In his, published statement, he said:
“I have done my very best making this fabulous game, but I have concluded there are elements which I am dissatisfied with. I have decided to act on this, and as a result I have chosen to leave Funcom. It is time to get new, fresh eyes on Age of Conan,” (i think it’s mostly about bugs)
Gaute Godager will be replaced by Craig Morrison,  who was very important figure in Anarchy Online project, he was producer and game director.
Gaute Godager also added: “I had a fantastic time these last 16 years, and I am very proud of the many things Funcom has achieved. Funcom and Conan will always be a big part of me, but as I now look to new ventures outside the gaming industry I am certain Age of Conan’s future is in the best of hands.”

In my opinion there is something bad in Funcom. Gaute Godager was one of it’s original founders. Maybe AoC is has lots of bugs but Funcom and Godager created really good mmorp game with very cool ideas. To create mmo you need time and of course money, Blizzard or EA who released Warhammer Online are really rich companies. I hope Mr. Morrison will be someone better and he really help AoC..i really hope so..
